
In 1970: Creation of the Higher Teacher Training College for Polytechnic Education (ENSEP), by Ordinance No. 70-85 of December 1, 1970.
In 1984: Change of name of the School to Higher Teacher Training College for Technical Education (ENSET), by Decree No. 84-205 of August 18, 1984.
In 2008: Modification of the School’s status, which became the Higher Teacher Training College for Technological Education of Oran (ENSET Oran), by Executive Decree No. 08-210 of July 14, 2008 (transformation into a non-university institution).
In 2012: The institution’s status changed to that of the National Polytechnic School of Oran (ENP Oran), by Executive Decree No. 12-376 of October 29, 2012.
In 2017: The school was renamed after Maurice Audin, by Ministerial Order No. 15 of February 7, 2017.
