"The National Polytechnic School of Oran-Maurice Audin (ENPO-MA) and the Materials Laboratory LABMAT organize, in collaboration with the EOLE Laboratory of the University of Tlemcen, the second International Conference on New Trends in Innovative Construction Materials (NewMat’2024), which will be held at the ENPO-MA Polytechnic School in Oran, Algeria, from December 16 to 18, 2024.

The research field of composite cementitious materials is constantly evolving to address more complicated and ecologically demanding industrial concerns such as enhancing building energy efficiency, protecting the environment, and industrial waste recovery.

The latest exploratory and numerical methods developed by various researchers for the design and characterization of these new composites, whether physicochemical, mechanical, thermal, or durability, have evolved dramatically in recent decades. These novel developments have enabled the industrial sector to handle several challenges while also updating existing standards.

NEWMAT’24 (2nd edition) is an international seminar that follows the first version held in March 2022 at the Higher School of Applied Sciences of Tlemcen (ESSAT). It seeks not only to shed light on the current state of advancements in research, bringing together inventiveness, energy efficiency, and artificial intelligence, but additionally to foster fruitful and enriching shares between researchers and industry."
